heya havent blogged in a long time i shall start from MONDAY (all band stuff lar horh)
MONDAY went for self prac with Ru Yue (: we ran tru all the 'new' songs (songs given to us after JBF) then went to play RY's piano pieces hur hur; i was supposed to teach her how to play them but you know, my sightreading is like poop and so ya... she was playing it by herselfl all the time (: soory Ru Yue oh ya, we spent 1 hour on tpet and 2 hours on the piano haha and i walked home with RY but i went an extra overheadbridge, so i took longer than usual, supposedly, but it felt shorter heh heh, maybe cos i was happy and RY was there half the journey? (:
TUESDAY band drills ooh we were doing halfway then suddenly for a few times perc went so fast (: well, it's supposed to be faster for real marching so we were already considered slow. damn got new piece for SYF, well, we were supposed to vote between GOLDEN JUBILEE; INTO THE JOY OF SPRING and DIE FLEDERMAUS. DF is okay larh, but i like ITJOS' melody more (: and am playing 3rd! yaye! oh oh; ya, playing DF for SYF, well, we are working on tt one. ohya then, me and RY were at one corner counting away(: so fun... but my counting and playing and sightreading for the piece got worse each time we repeated the piece -.- gah. i was quite happy with myself at first cos i could sightread the piece and play most of the rhythms (: and get the rhythms and notes right yaye! but i just got worse and worse bah. oh then the tpet seniors got 'scolded' for leaving us juniors out of their talking... wth. not their fault wad. then when time to play MUSIC MAN. Lingli and Constance were like RACHEL then they talked to me, and i kept quiet (: see; is they talk to us, we dun talk to them and now i'm in... the... coolio(?) club? with Lingli conny and jess? lol oh yar back to DF the 'composer' supposedly wanted to save paper so the scores like on rental and we have to pay $650 to rent it? wth and anyway, Suzuki didn even compose this damn song he just arranged it so why is he getting so much money for that?
WEDNESDAY SYF'09 piece coming out tomorrow! hope it's nice library did nothing trumpet tuition! Mr Lun tot me a new embrouchure - relax, close lips and just buzz and blow yaye! nicer sound and ya, ran tru A of DF okay bb
