heyyy! today was band handover day and school national day celebration ;D
national day celebration was fun. at least, more fun than last year or last year ... (: we had those large, ugly canvas mats to sit on. it was supposed to be a good thing[for us] but ppl kept stepping on it and so it became wet, leafy, muddy and insect-y. lol. okay, then for singing song time, ppl from our class formed a circle and kept pulling each other around. oh! and the harvard din and tonics performance was awesome! lol. the guys can sing and study at da same time. lol. well-rounded ppl. lol. being retarded here.
HANDOVER: i thought it would last longer and be more... fun and bonding(?) we were let out at 11.11am from the shaw hall so we only had... 15 mins to change? minus 5-10 mins waiting for megan to open the classroom door and getting everything else sorted out. so then rush rush rush to the band room. when i got there, the twins and ru yue were oredi gone - to change ;D. and i was like oh shit.
then i didn have time to re-tie my hair and wipe my sweaty self. lol. so it was quite uncomfortable. and oh! i shud have taken off my PE shorts. make me look so fat and make my skirt puffy :\ and i cudn tie my tie. then i asked eugenie who asked jeanette. but it was too late. time to fall in under the hot sun. so i had to fall out and TRY to tie my tie, which i cudn. i almost cried mannn... then michelle came and helped me. thank you! u saved my life. then took pictures and moved to the shaw hall for the ceremony, that wasnt even like a ceremony. lol. we just stood there in platoon and waited for the sec 4s to handover their posts to the sec 3s one by one. so slow and boring lol. then stood longer for a while to listen to mrs neoh speak. then she let us sit down. my 'belt' at the back of the vest came out and i didn bother to put it back. then georgina [i think], helped me. haha, thank u! then went down to the band room. whole thing - over, just like that. lol.
then changed out of my vest and skirt in the band room and went to change out of long-sleeved shirt. came back, Eunice gave us recruits a toy monky each!!! so cuute! and there was a treble clef badge on it ;D thank you! then had chicken rice for lunch. then went home. or maybe Eunice gave us the monkey after lunch. lol. okay... byeee
